AFCON 2019: Nigeria to face Algeria in semi-final—
The semi-final fixtures of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations will be a battle of West Africa Vs North Africa.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Algeria in one of the semi-final fixtures, while Senegal will face Tunisia.
Nigeria’s clash with Algeria was confirmed tonight after the Desert Warriors defeated Ivory Coast in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw. Tunisia also defeated Madagascar 3 – 0 to set up a semi-final clash with Senegal.
The match between Senegal and Tunisia will be played at 30 June Air Defence Stadium on the the 14th of July at 5pm West African time, before Nigeria will take on Algeria same day, at the Cairo International Stadium. The match kicks off at 8pm.
