A group of 36 Cuban doctors, 15 nurses and logistics experts came to Italy to stop the spread of the corona virus in Lombardy region.
Ten years ago, Cuban doctors were at the forefront of the fight against cholera in Haiti and Ebola in West Africa.
On Saturday, 800 Italians died of the new coronavirus.
