She awakens to the darkness, it is pitch black and she sees nothing except her Rosary bead that glows in the dark
She would have believed herself to be blind had she not seen the green glow of the bead
The atmosphere there is so dark and terrifying she feels she is going to suffocate.
She is shaking and sweating profusely. She knows terror is lurking around the corner but can’t explain how she knows that. The thought gives her goose bumps.
Soon her eyes adjust to the darkness and she is able to make out a chair close to her. She supports herself with the chair and manages to stand to her feet, she is still shivering but not as violently as she was before now. She tries to take a step but her feet fails and she falls back but luckily lands on the chair and it gives out a loud shriek.
She holds her breath and sits still for seconds, waiting for a sound half hoping someone else is here with her but the silent response reminds her she is here all on her own. She starts wondering how she got here in the first place.
Just then, she hears a faint hissing sound from behind her, it seemed it was calling her name, but she dismisses it as her mind playing tricks on her. But, the hissing becomes louder and clearer and it was really calling her name. It didn’t sound like a human voice, she was sure of that. She freezes on the seat, not like she could run if she wanted to.
She closes her eyes telling herself that if this was a dream then this is the perfect time to wake up. She keeps her eyes closed hoping that the sound would go away and she would open her eyes to see herself in her room, safe and sound. But it becomes louder and louder till it seemed whatever it is was was as close to her as it could get. Just then, she muscles up the courage to turn and have a look at the source of her terror.
What she sees makes her heart pound so hard and her chest tightens, just then, the strange creature charges at her with its mouth open showing its sharp long fangs. She gets up to run but her feet fails again so she starts crawling away from the creature. As she crawls, her body moist from perspiration collects the sand from the ground, some of the hard particles in the sand scraped her skin but she didn’t mind the pain, it is nothing compared to what she is now facing.
The creature soon comes to an abrupt halt and leaps towards her, right before it swallows her, she springs up violently from her bed. Soaked in perspiration and panting, she quickly looks around to realize she is in her room. There is no sign of the creature, she rushes to switch on the light and is relieved to see that she is really in her room. She went back to lay on her bed and notices something strange on her body, it was the sand that her body had collected in her dream
