Lagos state to teach SS3 students with radio & TV due to Coronavirus outbreak

Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo announced that she is arranging to teach some core subjects in radio and television to SS3 candidates who are preparing for the West African Higher School Certificate (WASSCE) exam.

In an interview with LTV’s Lagos Today, the commissioner said teachers will pre-record 8 subjects for radio, television and online radio.

The core subjects are: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature-In-English, Financial Accounting and Economics.

Folashade who advised public and private schools to comply with the closure of schools in the state, added;

“You know in our classes there are lots of children and children will always play with each other.

“So it is to protect our children; we agreed that all schools should just shutdown.”

  1. This is a good development,but did she consider the power failure in lagos state,power is not stable,what is the option,
