The US Rapper Pop Smoke (Real Name, Bashar Barakah Jackson) was shot dead in his Hollywood Hills home and fans are in shock.
TMZ said that two masked men wearing hoodies broke into the rapper’s home early Wednesday morning, February 19, firing multiple shots before fleeing the scene on foot.

“The rapper was at his home in the Hollywood Hills at around 4:30 AM when 2 men wearing hoodies and masks broke into his house. We’re told the 2 men fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke. The men were seen fleeing on foot,” TMZ reports, citing law enforcement source.
Footage of first responders attempting to perform life-saving techniques on the rapper, as he’s being wheeled out on a stretcher to an awaiting ambulance, has been shared online.
Pop_Smoke was reportedly rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was pronounced dead.

Last year he spoke about wanting to make music that inspires children who are growing up in poverty.
Pop Smoke told The Face: “I make music for that kid in the hood that’s gotta share a bedroom with like four kids – the young kids growing up in poverty.
“I make music for kids like that who know they just gotta keep going, that there’s a better way. That’s who I really make it for.”
