Hours ago, news about the alleged arrest of Dubai based Nigerian big boy, Hushpuppi Ray hit the internet.
He was reportedly arrested for fraud.
News websites and blogs further shared a purported photo of the alleged fraudster in handcuff.
The supposed photo of the Yoruba born Dubai based fashionista went viral on social media platforms.
After much investigations, it has been gathered that the picture is from a video shared online (Youtube) since 2019.
The particular photo (above) that’s trending online which people are claiming is hushpuppi in Handcuff is FAKE.
This is not hushpuppi. This screenshot is from a very old video. The video came up during the Invictus Obi saga. Obi was arrested by the FBI for $11Million fraud in 2019!

Hushpuppi’s arrest is said to be linked to a fraud on the unemployment insurance program if states in America.
While the report is yet to be confirmed, Nigerians took to social media as seen below.
